Spindleworks "All That Glitters" Annual Block Party

Spindleworks Studios and Gallery invites the community to its annual Block Party and 2nd Friday Art Walk celebration on Friday, July 10, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at 7 Lincoln Street in Brunswick.
This year’s exhibition, “All That Glitters,” showcases artwork by Spindleworks artists and celebrates the creativity, connection, and community that have defined Spindleworks for fifty years. The evening will feature live music by Leopard Girls, food and refreshments, dancing, and now serving “Spindelicious,” a special gelato flavor created in honor of Spindleworks’ 50th anniversary.
The exhibition will remain on view following the opening and may be visited Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Spindleworks supports more than 45 artists with intellectual disabilities and autism working in a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, woodworking, weaving, and fiber arts. A program of Independence Association, Spindleworks is celebrating its 50th year with a summer full of special events and opportunities to connect with artists and the broader community.
The event is free and open to the public.
