We are a small family operated woodland , native plant, and shade perennial nursery.  Fernwood Nursery has been providing gardeners with a large selection of nursery propagated native and woodland plants for over 25  years, along with a fantastic selection of shade perennials and rarities from around the globe. We also offer organic vegetable seedling during the early part of the season, handspun yarn from our flock of Blue Face Leicester sheep, and a variety of classes throughout the season. Visitors are welcome to tour the extensive display gardens, enjoy their lunch on the deck of the studio, and request help and advice on selecting specific cultivars for their gardens.

While we will open the open air nursery during the first of May, we will also work with customers wishing to request plants and order by telephone and pick up their plants roadside.
