Saco River Hideaway Campground is located on Route-25 in Cornish, Maine, just 45 minutes away from Portland, Maine. Our campground is one of the few campgrounds in Maine by the river that allow dogs and don't charge pet fees. We are a pet friendly campground.

Our campground has over 1,000 feet of waterfront on Saco River, making it very easy to Kayak or Canoe on the river. There are a couple boat launch areas in the upstream of Saco River. Our guests can choose a 1.5-hour river trip or a 4-hour river trip. The destination is at our campground. The river scenery is spectacular!

Saco River Hideaway campground offers full service and semi-full service RV sites, tent sites, a pavilion, a bathhouse, a dumping station, and a camp store. Full service RV sites include city water, 30 AMP or 50 AMP electricity, and sewage hookup. Semi-full service RV sites include city water and 30 AMP or 50 AMP electricity hookups. There are two different tent sites, with city water and electricity hookups or primitive sites. There also is a dump station for RV.
