Joy on wheels defines the Portland Wheelers experience.

Whether it’s a child with a disability, an adult recovering from an injury, an older person facing cognitive decline, or someone with mobility challenges, our bike rides offer the freedom, companionship, and joy of being outdoors. In 2024, we provided over 3,100 rides to more than 1,200 individuals who otherwise couldn’t enjoy biking. Thanks to our incredible 130+ volunteers, we shared over 4,400 hours of happiness and connection through cycling.

As we approach our 10th anniversary in 2025, we aim to raise $101,010 to continue our mission of bringing mobility and joy to those in Greater Portland.

Your donation helps us provide free rides, increase diversity among our riders, and support essential needs like blankets, safety gear, and electric trike maintenance. Every dollar makes a difference—$10 provides warm blankets and safety vests, $100 funds three trike tires or a ride, and $1,000 covers the cost of a special ride event.
