DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 6th annual Maine Book Festival (formerly the Ma
 ine Authors Book Festival) on August 23\, 2025\, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
  the Thomaston Public Library and sponsored by Maine Authors Publishing! T
 his year’s theme is Woods and Waters\, and we’re excited to celebrate 
 the natural beauty and outdoor heritage of Maine.\n\nFor all Maine Guides\
 , Maine Game Wardens\, Foresters\, Park Rangers\, and Outdoor Professional
 s\, wear your uniform and/or patches for a special prize and automatic ent
 ry into our raffle.\n\nThe festival will include signings by over 100 auth
 ors\, presentations\, live music by Don Roy\, an open studio with Maine ar
 tists\, and a Maine Department of Inland Fisheries &amp\; Wildlife booth t
 o answer all your wildlife questions. There will also be a children’s ar
 ea with a scavenger hunt\, food for sale from Station 118\, and ice cream 
 from Stone Fox Farm Creamery. A portion of the proceeds from book sales an
 d the basket raffle will benefit the Thomaston Public Library.\n\nFor more
