Factory 3 is hosting a charity auction in partnership with the Synth Club of Southern Maine. Interested in getting into electronic music and sound creation with modular synthesis but intimidated by the costs or don’t know where to start? We are auctioning off Eurorack modules and complete modular synths, all starting at $5 with all proceeds going to Maine Needs.
A variety of items will be offered including oscillators, mults, low pass gates, sequencers, wavefolders, complete standalone modular synths and even a tape echo unit paired with a vintage Marantz tape deck! And more! Each item will be built or assembled with love by club members at our January 7th DIY Synth Charity Build Day.
The club will have demo equipment on-hand to try modular synthesis and will also be providing refreshments.
