Joy & merriment will fill downtown Portland, ME at the Monument Square Tree Lighting Presented by Hood Eggnog.
This spectacular, wintertime celebration will stuff Monument Square with family-friendly fun, including FREE eggnog samples from Hood Eggnog, a Holiday Spectacular show by Mad Science of Maine, live ice carving demonstrations by SubZero Ice Carvings, face painting, live music, & SO MUCH MORE — all in full view of Portland Downtown’s Monument Square Tree Cam, a snow-globe-type view of the square streamed to YouTube from this day through early January.
All of the festivities lead up to the magical moment when a stately 50-foot tree is illuminated by thousands of LED lights & the iconic Pandora’s Winter Lights sponsored by Portland Downtown are turned on city wide — wowing the evening’s monumental crowd & truly ushering in the winter season here in Portland, ME.
