Portland Recovery Community Center is hosting Maine’s 11th annual Rally 4 Recovery at Payson Park, right on Back Cove in Portland. Join us for this FREE community concert to benefit recovery on Saturday, September 21st from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. This annual celebration of recovery in Maine serves as a resource fair and opportunity to highlight organizations that support recovery in our state.

🪩🕺🏽We will gather for live music from the ultimate disco party band Motor Booty Affair, kids’ activities (bounce house, face painting, tie-dye, bubbles, coloring, etc.), food trucks, speakers, and the annual recovery countdown. In addition, tables are available for community partners to share resources and information. This is a great family-friendly event organized by people in recovery, allies, friends, and families.

September is Recovery Month: a national observance to educate Americans about substance use disorder and show that it is possible to recover and live healthy, rewarding lives. Recovery Month celebrates the progress made by those in recovery and spreads the message of hope to others. The annual message remains — Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community!

Funds raised from the Rally 4 Recovery support Portland Recovery Community Center (PRCC) groups, wellness, recreation activities, education, and advocacy efforts. PRCC is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
