His unique place-based sound combines folk, country, and maritime influences into tunes that you’ll find yourself humming for days! 10/10 – This or Better One of Portland’s most popular duos, Natalie and Max are “This or Better.” A folk acoustic duo with beautiful harmonies, fingerstyle guitar picking and a charismatic vibe that have stolen the hearts of many. Their repertoire includes original music and prime selections from the classics: John Prine, Dolly Parton, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, June Carter, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt and so many more.
