Experience a full day of exploration into the deeper meaning, precision, and intention of Indian Fusion Belly Dance! The classical and folk dances of India offer a richly defined and codified tapestry of movement expression and storytelling. This in-person workshop explores the technique and nuances unique to Indian dance, the ancient sources that inspired these movements, and how to layer it on to belly dance to create a beautiful synergy of the two. The day will finish with participants learning a short devotional choreography dedicated to the GODDESS LAKSHMI called Sundari Devi (The Beautiful Goddess).
One year of bellydance experience is recommended to take this course.
