 h singer-songwriter Alisa Amador. Donations to support the Opera House are
  encouraged at the door.\nThis multimedia production asks audiences to ima
 gine a world where communities are already meeting the climate crisis with
  creativity\, care\, and determination. Through live music\, film\, commun
 ity voices\, and stop-motion animation\, The Future is Here shares the sto
 ries of Maine people building regenerative\, resilient\, and more connecte
 d communities.\nTold through a series of vignettes\, the performance highl
 ights the real work already happening across Maine\, from local innovation
  to everyday acts of stewardship. The program celebrates practical hope\, 
 community action\, and the people helping shape a more sustainable future.
 \nDoors open for seating at 6:30 PM\, and the program runs approximately o
 ne hour. The event is sponsored by Boothbay Region Land Trust\, Boothbay R
 egion Clean Drinking Water Initiative\, Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Scien
 ces\, Boothbay Sea &amp\; Science Center\, Sunrise Ecologic\, and the Boot
 hbay Region Climate Action Committee.
