Sisters Natalie Haas on cello and Brittany Haas on fiddle bring a spectacular evening of contemporary string music to the Opera House on Aug. 12, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The two grew up making music together, filling their childhood home with everything from Bach suites to old-time tunes. Over time, they followed their own paths through different traditions, countries, and cultures, each becoming a standout virtuoso and composer in the acoustic music world.

With HAAS, the sisters finally come together in duo form, recording and performing music shaped by a lifetime of shared roots and global influences. From Nashville to Norway, the Celtic Isles to California, their sound reflects a wide-ranging journey through time, place, and tradition.

Natalie has appeared at the Opera House many times with Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser, and this performance marks a warm welcome back for an unforgettable night with her sister Brittany.
