DESCRIPTION:UUCB Concerts for a Cause presents Chelsea Berry at the Unitari
 an Universalist Church of Brunswick on Saturday\, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. to
  raise money for Oasis Free Clinics and the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Proje
 ct.\n\nAlaskan-born Chelsea Berry is a powerhouse vocalist and performer n
 ow residing in Gouldsboro\, just north of Acadia National Park.  She is k
 nown for her powerful and beautiful voice\, dynamic stage presence\, and i
 ntimate storytelling.\n\nShe has released 10 original albums over her 25-y
 ear career and has collaborated on projects with dozens of other writers a
 nd performers. Her music is played regularly on Sirius XM’s The Loft and
  has been featured on local radio and TV stations.\n\nShe is currently wor
 king on her 11th album\, Peace Soldier\, funded in part by Berry’s ide
 a and execution of a 24-hour song marathon to support the creation of a re
 cord centered on compassion\, love\, and empathy.\n\nBerry has built a dev
 oted audience throughout New England and across the country.  As a vetera
 n of the road\, she has toured coast to coast in venues such as House of B
 lues\, Carnegie Hall\, and the World Cafe Live and has provided support fo
 r legendary artists including Livingston Taylor\, Chris Smither\, Mavis S
 taples\, Chris Isaak\, Shawn Colvin\, and many others.\n“There’s a mag

  part of the UUCB Concerts for a Cause series whose mission is to bring a
  variety of quality music to the Brunswick area while raising funds for lo
 cal nonprofit organizations.  ALL net profits from ticket sales are donat
 ed to the two charities chosen by the Concert committee at the beginning o
 f the season. Since its inception in 2014\, the concert series has raised 
 over $68\,000 for local charities.
